Our Purpose
The Chorale is a community where song becomes medicine. Through the soulful traditions of Negro spirituals and African songs, we carry the stories of our ancestors — songs of hope through suffering, strength in struggle, and joy despite pain. These songs still bring healing today.
Music and Healing
Singing together restores body, mind, and spirit. It lowers stress, lifts mood, builds connection, and opens the heart. At Voices of the Nation, every note reminds us we are not alone, and every harmony is an invitation to wholeness.
A Community of Belonging
Studies show that singing is good for your health. It can lower stress, lift your mood, help your heart and lungs, and even make your body stronger. Most of all, singing together helps us feel connected and less alone. At Voices of the Nation, every song reminds us we belong, and every harmony brings healing and hope.

This is more than a concert — it’s about community, about lifting our voices as one to find strength and healing. If we stay silent, the pain continues to divide us.
However, when we come together, hearts are restored, wounds are comforted, and hope comes alive again.
